Shake up the dialogue in your community
Emissions: A Climate Comedy is a play that can be staged by schools, community groups, amateur or professional theatre companies, or anyone else with a bit of chutzpah. It's a play with a proven ability to get people together, laughing, and talking - three things quite needed to avoid frying the planet. First staged in Ottawa in 2013, it was a whopping success (just ask the reviewers)!
You can now download the script for free and stage your own production of Emissions (with a few teensie weensie conditions). The full play can be performed with a cast of 6 playing multiple roles, or a cast as big as 30. Running time is about an hour. Most of the scenes could also work as stand-alone 10 minute plays. Either way, have a gas! So far, shows are in the works in Halifax, Nova Scotia and Sydney Australia! More deets soon.
